One Account Per Person: Each individual is permitted to register and operate only one account on the platform. The creation of multiple accounts, ghost profiles, or the use of multi-identity details to circumvent platform rules, entry caps, or spending limits will result in an immediate lifetime ban and the forfeiture of all entries and potential prizes.

โ–3. Prize Competitions#

The Skill Element: Our competitions require a correct answer to a skill-based question to enter, alongside the choice of a paid online entry route or a free postal entry route. Validation Criteria: Entries will only be validated and included in the draw if the correct answer to the skill-based question is submitted and either: The paid online entry transaction clears successfully. A valid free postal entry is received, verified, and manually processed. Incorrect Answers: Our competitions require a baseline level of skill, judgment, or knowledge. If an online entrant submits an incorrect answer to the skill-based question, they will be immediately locked out of that specific competition and will be technologically prohibited from purchasing a ticket or proceeding to checkout. Disqualification Discretion: The Promoter reserves the absolute right to refuse, remove, or disqualify entries that breach these Terms, including entries deemed fraudulent, automated, script-driven, or syndicated/bulk.

โ–4. Free Postal Entry Route#

The Promoter guarantees a genuine, free postal entry option for all Prize Competitions, which is advertised with equal prominence and treated exactly the same as a paid online entry. Both routes share identical odds of winning. No payment, subscription, or account creation fee is required to submit a free entry.

Grounds for Direct Disqualification: Postal entries will be automatically voided without notice if they are incomplete, illegible, damaged, missing any required info, or contain an incorrect answer to the skill question. Postal Caps: To prevent exploitation of the free entry route, individual users are capped to the exact same maximum number of entries per competition via the postal route as paid users are capped online. Postal Liability: The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or damaged in transit via Royal Mail. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery or processing. Account and Ticket Generation: Valid free postal entries will be manually processed by authorized administration personnel. A user account will be created on the platform using the details provided on the postcard to automatically generate your entry ticket number. Once verified, you will receive an automated email confirmation with your free ticket details. By sending a postal entry, you explicitly agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

โ–5. Draws & Winner Selection#

The Draw: Winners will be selected fairly and transparently using a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG) from all valid entries (both paid and postal) containing the correct answer. Notification: Winners will be contacted via the email or telephone number provided at entry within 48 hours of the draw. Disqualification Window: If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or fails to verify their identity within 14 days of the initial contact attempt, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner using the same random process.

โ–6. Prizes & The Minimum Ticket Threshold#

Prizes are non-transferable.

โ–6.1 The Reasonable Equivalent Guarantee (Threshold Not Met)#

To maintain a sustainable business model, each Competition has a stated maximum number of tickets and a minimum number of tickets required for the physical prize to be awarded (the "Minimum Ticket Threshold"). If the Minimum Ticket Threshold is met by the closing date, the winner will receive the physical advertised prize. If the Minimum Ticket Threshold is not met, the draw will still take place on schedule. In accordance with UK consumer protection laws, the draw will not be cancelled. Instead, the winner will receive a "reasonable equivalent" cash prize equal to 75% of the total ticket revenue generated for that specific Competition. The remaining 25% is retained by the Promoter to cover administration, merchant processing fees, and marketing costs.

Optional Cash Alternative: Where the Minimum Ticket Threshold has been met, the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, offer the winner a cash alternative instead of the physical prize. Mutual Agreement: This cash substitution will only take place if both the Promoter and the winner expressly agree to it in writing. Valuation: The cash alternative value will be determined solely by the Promoter and will typically reflect the commercial trade value or a pre-determined percentage of the physical prize's retail value. Once a cash alternative is agreed upon and processed, the winner forfeits all rights to the original physical prize.

โ–6.3 Prize Sourcing and Delivery#

Prizes may be ordered directly from third-party suppliers and delivered to the winner's confirmed UK address. Delivery times normally dispatch within 7 working days of identity verification but may vary based on supplier availability. The Promoter shall not be liable for any delivery delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, couriers, or circumstances outside of its reasonable control.

โ–7. Limitation of Liability#

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, the Promoter is not responsible for website outages, server issues, technical failures, payment gateway declines, bank errors, or lost/corrupted entries that prevent participation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter's negligence or fraud.

โ–8. Data Protection & Privacy Summary#

By entering our competitions, you consent to your data being processed in accordance with UK Data Protection Legislation (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Information Collection & Lawful Basis: We process data under the lawful basis of contractual necessity (to administer the competition and fulfill prizes) and legitimate interest (to prevent platform abuse and fraud). We only collect information strictly necessary to operate our services. Marketing Transparency: Your personal data will never be sold, rented, or shared with third-party marketing firms. You will only receive marketing communication from Ticket Hive if you explicitly opt-in during account creation or checkout. Postal Route Processing: For free postal entries, only your name and email address will be digitized and stored electronically to generate your raffle ticket number and maintain a clean audit trail. Physical postcards will be held securely and permanently destroyed via secure cross-shredding within 30 days of the draw. Your Statutory Rights: Under UK GDPR, you maintain the right to access, correct, object to processing, or request the deletion of your personal data by contacting our customer support.
